I literally don't care about IVs, EVs, natures, or temperaments. I don't understand them either. I just pick pokemon I think look cool or cute and I battle and pet them because they're my friends.
I also have undying loyalty to my starter and some of the Pokemon I pick up in the beginning of the game. We ride together we die together. My starter always comes first though because he was the first.
This may also be because it's my second Pokemon game, my first being Black 2. I grind a shit ton more than I should, but whatever. I definitely don't know how to play the game properly but I find it more fun than most games I've played.
