>>34778314There's a difference, still. There are roms that have actually been edited for the VC release, specifically the Battle Network games on the Wii U's VC, and those have been extracted and can be played on a standard emulator/flashcart.
This is done ENTIRELY through the emulator, they can't extract the patch without decoding the emulator, only thing that's different is the is that certain events (that were already in the game) are active by default.
