Personally I think game Iris is a pretty swell kid; she's supportive in BW, and her being the champion kinda goes to show that the list of Champions isn't just limited to memetically popular characters.
...shame I can't really say the same for her anime counterpart though. She got old real fast, and there's no development on her becoming champ.
