The eeveelutions are boring pokemon and they should have never made more than three of them. They only consist of dressing the same generic mammal up in different types, but at least they look ok on their own.
The same cannot be said for Sylveon who I find to be incredibly ugly, not to mention it doesn't resemble anything from fairy mythology and folklore, and for a more personal reason, it seems like it was designed as a giant 'fuck you' to Hydreigon, my favourite pokemon.
Fairy type has the most terrible designs, the only one I particularly like being Xerneas. They also never balanced shit, only being a small obstacle for dragons, yet being a far bigger one for darks and fightings. Hey, let's buff fire, it's underpowered, and nerf bug, it's underpowered! Also, fairy type in and of itself is OP as shit given how each pokemon that received fairy type got a significant buff with no significant drawbacks. They should have nerfed dragons by removing some of their resistances instead,
