I would have one of those teams that doesn't stick with a specific Type but has a theme, my theme is occult/2spooky.
The Gym layout is pretty played out, three rooms. The first room is pitch black and you have ti find the door to the next room by basically walking into every tile of every wall. A single trainer accosts you in here.
Second room has two trainers, it's dim but not pitch black. You have to have the trainers confront you in a very specific way or else they'll end up blocking the door out.
And the third room is my chamber with a candle mounted on a pedestal. My team will consist of four pokemon, in order from darkest to lightest, just like my Gym:
>#1
Umbreon. Specially defensive, with Toxic, Protect, Moonlight, and Foul Play. If you start with a Fighting type I'll switch out to:
>#2
Gourgeist-XL, physically defensive, shiny. Will use Will o Wisp and Leech Seed to stay healthy, forms my defensive core with Umbreon.
>#3
Marowak. My bulky physical attacker, just looking to make dents in opponents with Earthquake mostly.
>#4
Ninetales, my ace pokemon, shiny, special attacker. Has Drought and Nasty Plot, along with Fire Blast, Solarbeam, and Dark Pulse. It's purpose is to sweep your weakened team.
If you can vanquish me you receive the Candle Badge and TM Will o Wisp.
