Or,
"I would hit a button that would kill everybody on Earth (aside from my fellow /vp/ brethren of course) to live in a Pokemon universe."
The way you stated it immediately made everyone defensive, as they were included in your hypothetical killings.
Also the fact that you point out that it is not physically possible to kill everyone on Earth suggests that you REALLY would kill EVERYONE if given the chance, once again furthering yourself from your audience, and making it seem like you think you're superior.
