Nemona's definitely got the tism but she's not stupid - she's canonically top of her class and is the student council president.

Cognitive intelligence =/= emotional intelligence, which is why both Penny and Nemona can excel at tech and academia, respectively, but still be shit at people. If Nemona gets a pass for being socially clumsy, Penny should too

Lol you probably misread her calling him a "big lunk".
Penny and Arven are very contrasting. Arven is pretty standoffish at the beginning because he's kinda insecure and stressed, so Penny is like "wtf is your problem". But once Penny realises that he's not a bad guy, just kinda in a fucked up situation, she apologizes to him. I think they have a lot in common despite how different they are, which is pretty fun.

That being said, they should definitely fuck.
