>>39618276>Looks like someone hasn't heard any of Nobuo's new worksYes that person is clearly you. I've been listening to Nobouo's work since before he even worked on FF7 just as I've been following the work of Amano Yoshitaka long before he worked with square. Both are remarkable people, his work on FF7 was masterful, if he is working on the remakes its like if Amano went from using a combination of water colours, ink, and pencils to.... just smearing shit on a canvas in his art style. Looks right but also is shit.
>Correct. That is the main purpose of the soundtrack. And they butched it, it now doesn't whisk you away so much as sound like you stepped into a rock concert. Its the complete opposite of immersion.
>he created a rock band called 'The Black MagesOf which I have all their albums, its still not his work and say as much on the case. Also I consider their work butchery too but since its not official who cares, the remake music is official and it is butchery.
>Your understanding of 'RPG combat system' is extremely narrow and outdated. Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Fallout (both original and Bethesda abominations) were all considered RPGs No Mass affect was a third person shooter with rpg elements. Its combat system WAS NOT an rpg one, its a micromanagement window and damage calculations wasn't done by rolls like in d20 so it can't be considered an RPG
Ditto for Deus Ex and Fallout of which I was refer three on as if it were brotherhood steel back that is very much RPG as its completely d20 even more so then Final Fantasy
>Just because you're hellbent on using Dungeon & Dragons system as a golden standart doesn't mean anyone else should agree with youLook up combat systems, go to RPG section, see what they list as the UNIVERSAL system used for combat. Starts with D and ends in a 0
It if doesn't use d20 which isn't D&D by the way it predates it, then it isn't an RPG combat system
>Also, d20 was only published in 2000Um no its been in use since the 70s
