Johto had 3 games and still has glaring issues, meanwhile XY and SM are hated because they are "unfinished" or "wasted potential"
As they are both XY and SM are fine and can be beaten and have a complete plot and closure. That is enough to be finished
The fact that they had cut content means nothing for the quality of the rest of the game we actually got
