Volt White is surprisingly tough early game, as these games give you so few encounters before the first few gyms. I wiped to the first gym leader as I wasn't prepared, and he had 6 mons while I had only 4. This time though I grinded to the level of his strongest mon, and bulldozed him with Water Pulse. Aquatic Monkey came in super clutch.
>>49105933White is really fun IMO, and one of the toughest. So many gym leaders and story encounters can wipe you out, starting from the 2nd gym onwards. Having essentially 3 rivals means that if you don't know when they appear they can also surprise you while your team is low and wipe you out. Ghetsis at the end is a perfect boss too.
