Codex Gigas is a massive behemoth that can withstand almost any assault, but is unable to act with it's full power for five minutes. During those five minutes, it moves like a glacier and has far weaker power. Upon the end of the five minutes, however, Codex Gigas is able to move with frightening speed and holds enough strength to be able to move continents and shake the very earth.
It also has the ability to dazzle enemies with a confusing ray to scramble their vision, which it uses as a self defense in order to stall out the time it needs. However, those with strong wills can easily overcome this.
Despite his flaws, if Codex Gigas ever manages to awaken, he can very easily decimate his enemy, provided he's not already beaten or in terrible condition upon getting his act together.
