I hate these games so fucking much, from the awful region design, questionable Pokemon distribution, the difficulty being so low that every Trainer struggles to even exist, the awful starters and unfitting Pokemon designs, etc. The fact that every Pokemon fan without a proper way to cognitively think continues to eat this shit up and funnel their hard-earned dollars into GameFreak's filthy shithole is even more soul crushing. These games completely miss the point on what made Pokemon so enjoyable, something that even Gen 6 got right, but couldn't have been fully complete due to Gen 7 having to eat up the 20th anniversary.
I've going to give Gen 8 one more chance. If this series manages to piss me off immensely twice in a row, then I don't even know what to do.
