The battered Pluto steps up to defend Shaula, rendering Bronzong's Psychic ineffective. Pluto musters up the firepower to incinerate Bronzong with a Fire Blast.
Alakazam is sent out last, while Diamond is left with Earth and Aquarius as the only two who can survive any hits. Earth chooses to shield the team from an Energy Ball and Psychic, then surprisingly OHKOs Alakazam with a non-STAB Crunch. That thing's Defense is terrible after all.
Diamond moves forward to the final room in the League and sends out his entire team to face Cynthia in a full battle.
