Also previously I was only thinking about the usual surf mons for the next water routes and forgot there was still some interesting captures to look forward to with diving and the caves.
Decided to take in a Chinchou, because I need to handle the water-ice types at the end of the game and I don't mind another ground weakness that much having a Pelipper with Surf and Ice Beam.
Plus, carrying a Lanturn with VoltBeam combo is pretty solid regardless, now I'm kinda trying to decide if giving her ThunderWave to combine with her Confuse Ray, or Rain Dance + Thunder, or just leave her with Hydro Pump.
