The worst offense to this transformation is that he actually grows legs and his hands are no longer disembodied.
But enough about the negatives. As far as positives go, his purple shade turns radically darker, his sharp pointy things grow sharp and pointier, the glare of his eyes grow more poignant, and the smile of his teeth becomes much more dazzling.
Perhaps the best part of this change is the fact that despite the existence of those stubby unattractive new flub-bubs, Haunter can still Levitate, which is...weird for some reason. But cool ghosts get cool ghost privileges, it's an exception and exceptions are going to be made in this kind of world.
Finally, the evolution completes itself. Anina doesn't know that though, for she's still mindlessly kicking the Black Sludge assuming that something good is going to come out of it.
Something good is coming, it's just not that.
