Why the double standards /vp/? Why do you only trust sources if they fit your narrative? Why do you think the games will tank just because #GameFreakLied trended, but you never said the games would succeed when #ThankYouGameFreak trended? Why think one trend is accurate but not the other? And if you think #ThankYouGameFreak only happened because of shills and bots, consider this: does it not mean that #GameFreakLied might have also been picked up by bots?
