Please understand, just because something made you feel good or you like something has nothing to do with the actual craftsmanship of the product.
>"I had fun despite...">"Well I liked it"These statements don't mean anything about the actual quality of the work.
The game has a ton of issues and simply badly made design choices
>inconsistent physics when traveling the world, especially when jumping around on your bikemon. The amount of times I slipped off slight inclines was incredibly frustrating, especially with Miraidon's janky delayed jump>hitboxes for activating encounters while mounted is too big. You can be 1-2 player body's distance away and still get tagged>Pokemon draw distance is too small, meaning Pokemon can spawn on your location if you're moving >Pokemon models too small and often hard to see and avoid, especially in early game when things aren't evolved>marketing as an open world where things can be done in any order, yet blocking off gyms and titans with level ranges, Pokemon obedience ranges, and natural barriers>battles somehow slower because of pauses inbetween actions as well as the typical wall of action messages like "Klawf's Attack Rose! Klawf's Special Attack Rose! Etc etc.>removal of Set mode, which doesn't affect much but is a weird change>forced EXP Share still, I was even overlevelling from only catching Pokemon, never fought a single optional Trainer battle in the world.>minimap turns with the player, making it useless at a glance, and Pokemon icons don't actually mean anything. You can see several Pokemon species in an area that just aren't there. Also it lags too, how does a UI element lag?I went into the game optimistic, and was disappointed. Like the game all you want, but in terms of construction, functionality, and craftsmanship, this game falls way short. If it doesn't, then hardly any games do.
It's ok to like bad things, just don't pretend bad things are good
