The road to him, however, was a tad upsetting. For the second time in my runs (save for a nasty encounter with an Ace Trainer in my Kanto Thousand Years travel Arc in HG), I've had a psychic Pokemon completely blindside me with Energy Ball, and Anti-Paldea never got to live long enough to help Earthquake some motherfuckers. So many Pikachus and Luxios were consumed by the earth in vengeance.
Earth Slash, Crush 40%, and Grimbly got their feet dirty, whether stomping the earth up, or bringing ol' Mime Time to zap the crap out of Volkner's Octillery. If that Ambipom didn't want to die a coward, he shouldn't have Baton Passed to Luxray and get Earthquaked.
With the Waterfall climbing unlocked, it was a nice time swimming on Heather to get to the Victory Road checkpoint--oops, a wrong-choice switch (and forgetting that Tentacruel's kinda faster than a Graveler) sent Crush to a watery grave.
Now Gerymion has to take on Strength-duty as well, cementing his place firmly as the HM-Whore.
