region is based partly on central americas and partly on pangea.
Its intended to be a sort of land of the dinos type place, where all the fossil mons still live and other mons exist in more ancient states, which explains some of the changed types I went with for regional variants.
It consists of 5 islands, one big center island and 1 to each direction, each being a representation of one of the old elements.
East is Air, South is Fire, West is Earth and North is Water.
Your home is on east island, but you quickly get to travel to center island and from there you are free to explore any of the 5 in any order, only limited by hms, each island has an equal amount of mons to find, hms needed and gyms to fight, and you basically go back and forth between them all as you unlock the hms
