>>47314804>personally I never considered anyone in the guild a kidFunny thing I noticed about this is, I don't know if this is the case for anyone else at the guild, but there's at least one instance in each of the three pre-Super games where the player and/or partner is called a kid
>In Explorers, when you first approach the guild to become members, Chatot says, "It's rare to see a kid like this want to apprentice at the gulid"> At one point in Gates, Gurdurr says "You kids.." when talking to you though "kid" could just be used as a term of endearment, since Gurdurr is an older character>I don't remember when in Rescue Team, but I think it was near the end of the main storyIt seems that it wasn't so much that they weren't kids before, as much as, if they were, it wasn't brought to your attention nearly as much as in Super, where the partner is blatanly written to be a kid. Whether or no you consider the others kids or not is up to you. Personally I do, because of the target demographic of these games being kids. I always just assumed this ran on Ashnime logic to where ten-year-olds are allowed to be independent, as a form of wish fulfillment. Although if you don't that's fine, it doesn't really matter that much
