"Chaaaannddd~"
While in his thick, smoky sanctuary, Chandelure deploys a barrage of Energy Balls at Skrelp to keep him busy while he shuffles around in search of a place to plummet. Try as he might, Skrelp's attempts at dodging are shot down by his cursed bad luck. An Energy Ball strikes him just as he dodges an earlier one, followed by a second one that knocks him upside the head.
"S-Skreeeeeellll!"
Fearing that a third hit could seal his fate, you butt the fuck in and not a moment too soon, "Skrelp! Come on, you gotta get up!"
"Skreeeeeee..."
Rather feebly, Skrelp recovers, almost stumbling in the process, "Yeah, yeah that's it! Now come on, you have to knock him down with something that can hit him even through his hiding barrier, and I think I know how to do that--Shock Wave!"
"Eeellll......!"
While not necessary the most powerful move in Skrelp's newly-expanded arsenal, it does further the running gag that for some inexplicable reason seadragons have the ability to generate high amounts of unstable electricity.
"What the hell?! How does a sickly seahorse know an Electric-type move! Serena, did you know about this bouffshit?!"
"It's kind of his 'thing', Mother."
Case in point.
Skrelp lobs a swift jolt of electricity at the chandelier, which pierces through the smoke zone and shocks his head without fail. Perfect accuracy.
"C-Chaaaand, chaaaandeeeluluuuuu!" the chandelier wails. Struck once again, he plunges back down to the arena, but manages to save himself hitting the floor. This might just be your chance!
