>>28105403It could definitely be bigger. Most routes in pokemon are bigger than this except a handful like XY's route one where the joke is that it isn't really a route.
Another thing is that item pokeballs usually aren't just sitting out it the open, they may be in a patch of grass, tucked off to the side, or on a ledge where you have to walk around to get up there.
