There will be a Nintendo Direct scheduled for Feb. 20th, Specifically a Pokemon Direct. This will cover the plans for Pokemon's 20th anniversary and the games planned for 2016
It starts with Pokken Tournament, a new Pokemon Fighter and the release date of March 18th.
Then, Pokemon GO. they cover the mechanics of the game and the pokemon available at the launch of the application. It will only be 1st gen pokemon with more being added "in the near future"
Pokemon GO will be available shortly after the presentation.
Then, a short part about the new expansion to the Pokemon Trading Card Game, Generations.

The presentation is almost over, but we have one more surprise for you
a 30 second trailer for Pokemon Z, available Fall 2016. Volcanion is seen fighting with Zygarde, and Zinnia is present with AZ. nothing more is said about Pokemon Z, but they confirm that the Pokemon Amiibo will be compatible with the game on the New 3DS, and that reprints of the Amiibo are on their way as well.
