Funny thing, if you import an expanded pokegra.narc from a HG-Engine rom into Platinum, and force encounters with pokemon after 493, the game WILL actually load them, (albeit with glitched data). Makes me wonder how easy it would be to expand the dex, by just importing everything else, and telling the game to keep reading after 493.
