Digimon doesn't seem to have any issues doing crossover stuff however, as they've done crossover content with Medabots
If you wanted a real Pokemon and Digimon crossover, with a story, it wouldn't work, since Digimon are just so much stronger then Pokemon
Unless like you introduce a plot device, like a new Digimon that nerfs the Digimon to be an equal level to Pokemon, very Dragon Ball FighterZ story nonsense to justify the characters being able to fight and defeat characters they have no right being able to defeat
