I like Emerald's Battle Frontier more because it had more complex rulesets like the Pyramid or Arena. I liked Emerald's Gym Leader rematches more because you got to see teams become stronger with each battle. And I like Hoenn Secret Bases more because you had way more freedom. Sinnoh Bases had those shitty rocks which you couldn't remove unless you rank up, which just felt more limited. Sinnoh Contests are more fun to me, but the rest I give to Gen 3.
