>>50491668Just stay out of it, and cooperate with the authorities where possible. They take invasive species seriously here, as long as they haven't already spread out of the forest yet it should be dealt with before it becomes irreversable.
In the unlikely event that nothing is done about this, go to Hano beach after dark and look for any abandoned shovels sticking out of the sand. Don't touch them (very important, DO NOT touch them), just toss a few balls from a distance and you should capture a couple of pokemon called Sandygast. They need a fair bit of training to evolve, but apparently piling sand onto them helps them grow faster. They're very powerful ground types, and as long as you're a half-decent rainter you shouldn't have much trouble clearing out a small grove of electric rats with a couple of these bad boys, quick attacks and thunder shocks won't do a thing to a Palossand. Plus if you mange to evolve one they're also naturally inclined to hide any evidence.
