>>45972433>why did they stop trying after this?You know something, they honestly didn't. Gen 6 is honestly continuing off a lot of what gen 5 was going for, a more story oriented adventure. Gens 5 through 8 all put a lot of importance in side characters and their own stories, it's no longer solely your adventure, you have to see how the journey is changing your friends as well. So it's not really fair to say Gen 6 was the end when it's following Gen 5 so closely.
