If it is the Evil Malamars from the past episodes who team up with Xeroics I hope that they escape at the end of the episode saying how this is not the end of Team Flare.
Ash and Greninja achieve full Synchro which is the permanent AshGreninja form and Ash and Greninja decide that they should part ways because Kalos is still in danger.
Ash says that until Puni-chan is able to return as the protector of Kalos that Greninja should take its place because Kalos is still in danger and that once Puni-chan is ready to return Ash and Greninja can be reunited. Ash and Greninja part ways, Ash continuing to the swamp with the others and Greninja off in pursuit of Xeriocs and the Malmars.
The departure episode ends with AshGreninja overlooking the airfield from where M-Blaziken stood in the first episode as Ashs plane takes off into the sky.
Sun and Moon begins and after a while once the Ultra Beasts appear and the main plot comes under way Ash and Topu Koko are fighting Expansion together but are being pushed back, right when things are about to end for them, Greninja shows up and fights off Expansion after coming to the Alola Region with Serena to visit Ash.
