exciting. detective noir aesthetic is great if it's tastefully portrayed in the movie, and the black male lead is irrelevant since he's not really replacing any existing character considering the movie's just gonna do its own thing in it's own damn universe. 100% worthy of giving it a shot, if it sucks then darn, if it's good then great! I have about 5 or 6 movie passes just collecting dust I got as birthday and christmas gifts lying around here, I have nothing to lose but my expectations.
