>>41158649It's because aside from the box trio Unova's legendaries were just haphazard as fuck. We had TWO minor trios, four mythicals, and whatever the fuck they were trying to do with Zorua. But it's the trios that are the worst offenders, because gen 4 also had four mythicals and whatever the fuck phione is, and Zorua has since become just another pokemon. But the two minor trios? The same genie three times over and some ugly as fuck horsethings? They looked like, and were, dexbloat for the sake of dexbloat. The genies got new forms, yeah, but the musketeers just make no goddamn sense. Fuck does that shit have to do with the US anyway? Honestly would have made more goddamn sense to make a clown, a king, and a southern gentlemen if you want a truly American trio.
