I get you're trying to picture situations where the abused Pokemon wouldn't have as much of a fighting chance, but unless it's a sort of organized crime thing, any average Trainer could get ganged up on because the other Pokemon can't stand the obvious mistreatment that's going on.
Of course there will be good-for-nothing fucks wanting to take advantage of others and that's nothing new here on Earth. Stuff like that exists and there's nothing we can really do about it. Instead of looking at all the bad possible situations, look at the good because that's where you'll find the mutual love and equality between Human and Pokemon we're all looking for here.
