The arctic village has a the typical arctic fauna, and your village specializes in Lillipup and Stoundland. There are no creepy-crawlies here, however the inside of your fridge/freezer is literally hotter than the outside temperature for 9/10ths of the year.
The desert village breed Zebstrika, and there is a large heard of Bouffalant living nearby. It is also extremely hot to the point where leaving the shade for too long can lead to heat stroke. The only exception is during the winter when the temperatures can fall below zero (Celsius, where the 0 actually means something) during the night.
Which village will you pick? Although you will not be reincarnated until you have died, you must still choose now to be eligible.
