Some of my favorite mons are objectively bad too, like my mom's toucan, or edgy venomous snake, or three headed stretched out kiwi, or just a fucking chameleon. But I don't go around pretending they're good designs just because I like them. Samurott is a fundamentally broken pokemon. A quadrupedal swordsman doesn't work, because it has to balance on three limbs to attack and thus has shit mobility. Post all the anime clips you want, it is never seen on two legs in the games (outside of rearing up to attack, but if you want to count that torterra is a biped). Not in refresh/amie, not in the walking animations, not in any of the attacking animations. A mega may change that, but for now, it's a mess. Probably the only quadrupedal pokemon in the entire franchise that would work better as a biped.
