I could easily have access to pretty much all the early route normal or flying types, forest-dwelling bug types and it would be very easy for me to trade for or buy any livestock related pokemon. So obviously I'd have Hydreigon, Regice, Mega Gyarados, Porygon-Z, Magnezone and Heatran.
Really though, I'd buy a Mareep off a farmer, catch a Sentret or Rattata and probably a Nidoran. I wouldn't even have six, that seems like way too much work. Especially given that the only people in the games that ever have 6 pokemon are the player, the champion and the magikarp fisher dude
