The region was called Shinto, and the joke of the cover is that constantly all the legendaries were popping up and causing problems and fucking up/derailing our adventures constantly. Pretty funny in hindsight, and a lot more interesting than just travelling from town to town collecting badges, this is why it took us four years to even be able to challenge the elite four, and that was more of an epilogue than anything else, after all the serious parts of the story wrapped up and the adventure had come to an end. Only my character (Kody) and the champion above (Leon, at the time we were playing this game, we started in gen 5 and ended shortly after gen 6 came out, so there wasn't any actual pokemon characters named Leon) challenged the elite four. The other two player characters, named Frank and Kait, never bothered because their stories/characters were actually not centered around a quest for badges and trying to become Champion.
I know I'm kind of talking to myself here, but fuck it, it's fun and nostalgic to put this stuff out there. I hope it gets more people interested in trying Pokemon Tabletop games, it's absolutely the best way to experience the Pokemon setting if you can get a group of friends together to do it.
