>>39442560This, I don't get it. At the time FRLG was a really damn good game with a solid postgame. Sure it was obnoxious not being able to use stuff like Crobat, but there was substantial enough stuff after the E4 that it wasn't like there wasn't opportunity to use them. Plus, the E4/Champ rematches were a first for the series, giving us a great place to have high-leveled battles against trainers.
I'm replaying the gen 3 games and its just a really nice experience. Its hard to believe how lame LGPE are in comparison.
