After having all fan-demand returning characters and cool, unexpected new characters that represented new franchises in Ryu and Cloud, we got this absolute piece of shit to shill a game that wasn't even out yet in the West, and Bayonetta as the "fan pick." And people still ate it up. I'm not saying that the nintendo shill picks will necessarily be bad. I'm sure they'll be at least somewhat interesting in playstyle, and that someone out there wanted them. Just don't delude yourself into thinking that what you hope for should be what you expect.
