This one's intended as a Mega Evolution concept, but I think its tame enough to work as a regional form.
Grass/Dark immediately comes to mind.
Though if Sceptile did get a regional form, Grass/Steel would be my ideal typing. But it'd probably end up being part Fighting or Flying. Don't see them making it Dragon since they'd surely want to differentiate it from its actual Mega.

Sceptile blows it away in Speed though.
Honestly hoping for Sceptile to get a regional variant that just swaps its Atk and Sp Atk stats. Allow it to make use of its wide movepool.
Pic related could easily be Grass/Dark. Though a typing like Grass/Steel would be ideal.
