>>473230801) Sitting in the stands of my brother's basketball game, playing platinum on my ds lite, and finally, after many, many attempts, I beat Cynthia (w/ just my Empoleon that only knew HMs, because I was retarded)
2) My mom would watch some pokemon movies with me on VHS, and a specifically remember a time when she had some special kettlecorn (must've been from a gourmet popcorn shop) and we watched the first move together in the basement during a crazy storm in the middle of the night.
3) Getting all the distribution events at Gamestop. I would check the
pokemon.com and my dad would take me whenever there was an event, I specifically remember getting Celebi in Heartgold and using it all the time.
4) Every year at New Years, my parents brought me to a party that a lot of other family friends went to. The house was huge, it was four stories and they had multiple PS3s for LAN games, comfy "gaming chairs", a theatre room, arcade cabinets, a shitload of toys, and pretty much anything else a kid could dream of. Anyway, a blonde girl named Abbie would sometimes be there. She was a couple years older than me, but loved pokemon just as much as I did, and would play those shitty "WHAT IF: POKEMON IN REAL LIFE?" youtube skits (I liked them at the time tho). She also introduced me to several of the Black and White multiplayer features, like the Entralink, Black City/White Forest, and the GTS. Had tons of fun battling and trading her, and looked forward to it every year.
5) This is the most recent one, being the release of Sword and Shield. Yeah, the games suck and I kinda regret purchasing Shield. I had followed the "hype," and was completely on board with the boycotters, until a week beforehand when I caved after watching the stream of the game and not wanting to miss out. My friends also got it, and we all met up and played it on the big screen together. It was a blast. We couldn't stop laughing at Chewtle's fucking awful face, and the wild area was fun for a bit.
