If the former, I suspect first of all that's just one shot, she'll have scenes where it's more no-irises too. But I dunno, to not freak out normies?
If the latter, then from what I heard, there was going to be some alien subplot in the games that got dropped. But frankly I'm happy, her eyes are adorable. They're the first thing I fell in love with.
