3 main line games per generation.
The standard games. Two versions, 8 gyms, e4, collect new mons, play with new mechanics/gimmicks, basic story, you get the idea. full national dex may or may not be in.Some Online battling. Gets DLC. Gets limited HOME support right away. You can deposit them but you withdraw 1-5 from HOME until you beat E4 and then the full support is unlocked.
Stadium line returned. Full Dex is there. ALL of the mechanics/gimmicks since gen 5 are there. 3s/Megas/Zmoves/Dyno/Terra all of em. Everything has very good animations. Has single player "story mode" which is just a bunch of tournaments, the main bread and butter of it is the online battles. this is the main platform for "Professional" battles. Launches with full, non limited HOME Support.
"Legends" line continues. Sometimes it will be something like Legends Celbi, next time it would be a closer Pokémon Colosseum. Meaning it's not set in the past but in some other region but uses the Legend style of game play. Dex is much more limited in these games. HOME has limited functionality like the other games.
Not 1, not 2, but THREE Classic Collections, all with home support at launch.
One with Red/Gold/Ruby
One with Blue/Silver/Sapphire
One with Yellow/Crystal/Emerald
