>>49961310Has to be Swampert for me. He's extremely huggable and cute. I often imagine about taking rides on his back while swimming through a river/ocean/lake, just the sound of nature while we both relax in the water and later play too. The new poke snap also totally convinced me that he's very silly, there's a mission in one of the forests where a Leafeon ends up in something like a big puddle and a Swampert comes out and starts playing with them, splashing water while he has a very happy face. That made my heart skip many beats and cry.
The way I even got feelings in the first place was because of PMD, as funny as it sounds. I had previously played HGSS, BDP and BW but I still viewed pokemon as friends and no more. I started a Blue rescue team game not even knowing what it was about, the personality quiz for the self-insert game wasn't truthful and thus I ended with a Mudkip. Decided to continue and through the story, the game had managed to make me see pokemon as not just friends and I started wondering what would happen if you got more emotionally invested with one, Mudkip line had also grown a lot on me by then. Enter the internet and the many content it offers, I started bringing Swampert more and more into my daydreaming because of emotional attachment. And we can cut to present day now.
