For the life of me, I don't get why you self-entitled spergs get this sudden urge to command us to "just use a simulator" or "just use Showdown" whenever this issue is brought up. Some of us have perfectly valid reasons for preferring Pokegen over sims, but even that's completely irrelevant since we're not actually obligated to owe you a reason anyway. You're not my fucking boss, you're not my mother, you don't know what's best for me just because you're sitting there elevated up on your high chairs whining and crying that you're no longer able to hand-crank your house's electricity because you'll no longer have a monopoly over the fruits of your labor.
What exactly do you think you'll accomplish anyway? You're not going to somehow magically convince all of us to not use Pokegen when it's actually finished. You're not going to stop the researchers working on it from developing it. Do you endlessly moan and complain about unfavorable weather forecasts in your area too?
