>>50658213Personally, it makes me think the Pokemon are in a tiny cage and can't do anything besides sit there and wait. Is there ventilation in the ball? Is there a way to see outside or is it pitch black? Don't bring up the manga, as it's not canon. Also shrinking doesn't explain anything like held items, or items found inside PokeBalls. Digitization already exists in the lore via PC so it's dumb that in this modern age they rely on "shrinking".
