Man this new series sucks. First episode and we don’t even hear a thing about Galar, even though there’s a blatant Galar Pokémon introduced in the first 5 minutes of the episode, owned by one of the main characters. Just like SM, we get SOME battling and then the rest is like everyone just hanging around. What the hell was Sakuragi even presenting?
And then the next episode is gonna be about Ivysaur and Venusaur, that we’ve gotten multiple times before. What the fuck.
And seriously, what is up with the new girl? Her name is faded in my head right now but she was such a “no fun allowed” killjoy moping around and complaining about everything. What 10 year old acts so negative for?
I’ll probably tune out until they reach Galar, because hopefully then somehow Ash will be introduced to the a League and we’ll get some type of goal for him that isn’t just an excuse to continue to get the arbitrary filler episodes we’ve been getting for the past 20+ years.
