Back in 2019 I was accepted into the Game Freak 1 Day intern program, along with a few others. The experience was actually nice, mainly just giving us a taste of what it would be like to work for a larger company. There I made a few friends that worked for the company full time. We stayed in contact over the years through Discord, chatting back and forth about Pokemon (obviously) and other projects that they would work on. Never would they go too in depth, but that changed as of last night. One of the, i'll call him LAN, dropped this into our group discord. They said that this would be one of the regular encounter fighting types in the early game. Browsed /vp/ for years and figured it would be nice to finally give back to the community.
