just started playing TCG. the Live software is utter garbage but damn I like the game a lot. i like the pacing, it feels like Master Duel how you can burn through 30 cards in a turn and go nuts, yet unlike MD you both get to actually play and interact, it doesn't just end on that T1/2 craziness. obviously i don't know shit but trying to figure out my way through like, Gardevour EX vs. Charizard EX and tweaking my deck for it makes me feel bigbrain (watching someone concede out of shame when they tried to hit my Mimikyu with Safeguard was the highlight).
also this is way cheaper than trying to do fucking anything in MTG Arena, can build a couple actually good decks for ~10 bucks, and ofc much of the bulk of the decks being staple non-pokemon cards helps with that a lot.
