The God-Emperor of Mankind would only appreciate a Pokemon game which tries to surpass what came before it. A game with enough effort to introduce more Pokémon than the first Gen and presenting a story about two heroes fighting for the best path for mankind. Our Emperor would see a story where the stronger hero proves himself the superior one in a righteous fight and defeats the selfish and wicked villain trying to corrupt mankind for the sake of enslaving the entire race.
The Master of Mankind would be pleased with Gen 5.
(He would only like BW, though. BW2 makes another return to the past instead of surpassing it, which our Emperor abhors)
