The Safari, for all its filler, actually gives Hoenn an okay second wind for empty team slots now that I think about it. Banette sounds fun to make work, but the poor thing is just so fragile.
>>43154772Tyranitar is actually neat for this because while Pupitar gets great moves, statistically it is more even spread than, say, Graveler, so it won't break the world with. It only gets super strong at THE point in the game where it should. Sand would also play nice with Aggron and Swampert. With Flygon you double down on it even more, though Glacia woudl pressure you that much more and Hariyama (hopefully with thick fat) becomes that much more important.
